What a great life. Now, Two(2) of My Sons have chosen the same path every Man in my Family has and are or about to be Serving as Commissioned Officers In the Combat Arms in the United States Army... words fail me but ... BooYah! to ALL and especially My Sons!

It is a tough assignment to reply to that statement.
So why is that? Because it puts the burden of remembering why you served and what you learned by doing so. Way to much information and emotion to convey on such notice.
I put the burden back onto their lap and simply thank them for being there as American citizens in support of the many troops around the world, standing the watch for "our freedom." Without the the Mom's & Pop's, Brothers and Sisters and all those citizens that truely support the our way of life, we the soldiers have nothing to fight for.
It is for our country's values and our way of life we struggle to keep the wolf at bay. Without them, we would have no cause to place ourselves in harms way. We know who the real heros are that we represent. Afterall when it is done, we are all citizens of the United States of America.
