"Thank You" to ALL vets for your service!!! I too am a vet but I CANNOT join a VFW post as I served btw 76 and 82. PEACE TIME Army!!

Yup, that's when I served too. A very peaceful time, but the height of the Cold War. Everybody was on edge. We had to keep the B-52s on alert status and nuke ready at all times.
