Question 2.5L 1995 YJ Expert

I am in search of a Jeep mechanic who knows everything there is to know about Jeeps, their engines, & that has an advanced understanding of troubleshooting, fixing, & tuning! Just the same that there are speciality people who specialize in Evo's, Mustangs, etc. I know there has to be someone.

In more detail:
*** I will NOT be doing an engine swap, re-gearing or buying a new Jeep so please do NOT suggest it. Thank you.

I live in the mid-west area of Florida and own a 1995 YJ with a 2.5L I4 engine and a 5-speed manual transmission (I will give more details if requested). I've done work to it over the last couple years making it amount to what it is now. I am currently deployed and upon returning home I am going to be going all in for two weeks working to finish up any small mods or issues that I want fixed.

I have taken my Jeep to mechanics around the area before and while they have a good understanding of all vehicles, they never have been able to fix the noises I wanted fixed and what does get fixed usually is done half-a**ed. I am tired of wasting my time with people that charge me money and don't do what I ask.Instead I want to find someone (or a shop) who can hear a noise (or have it described) and will know exactly what it is. Someone who knows how to do all the little modifications to the 2.5L to make it run at its best, including the fuel injection system, the ignition system, and even if I wanted to turbo it. And hopefully someone who knows a customizable ECU that I can use to tune my engine for all the little mods that have been done to it.

Does ANYONE know of a person or specialty shop that is a master at the YJ's?
It needs to be someone who will do outstanding work if it is a shop. I'm not about to redneck up my Jeep, I've spent a lot of money on it as it is already. Thank you in advance for any suggestions. Hopefully this post will find an answer and will be useful to someone else too.

check out southwest florida 4x4. the owner of the shop is a good friend of mine. he does good work and he's grown up around jeeps. and from the sounds of things, he's like you. i prefers fixing things to throwing parts at things.
