Jayhawk, I'm actually a Volunteer in Florida. I've been through Kansas a few times, though. Beautiful state and some great people there. Welcome to the forum. Maybe we can link up with other Jeeples in the area and "talk shop" or hit a trail, or something. My Jeep isn't exactly stock, but I've not upgraded my steering, transmission, suspension, or anything like that. It's always been my daily driver. So, I've never wanted to upgrade stuff like that, then get "too big for my britches," and end up breaking something. I can't afford to have my Jeep sitting around for multiple weeks while I'm saving $500+ to fix something in order to get it back on the road. That said, I'll take a modest trail, once in a while. If you have any questions about Jeeps, I'm sure you'll find people around here who will be too happy to answer. I'll answer what I can.

I live just north of the Bayshore gate to the base. There is always a caravan of jeeps going to/leaving the base. I'm usually going in the opposite direction so a lot of waving going on.
