Ocala National Forest

I'm trying to plan a day trip to the ONF for my first time and I'm having a hard time figuring out where exactly to go for some trail riding. I was hoping to get a little advice. I'll be coming from the Orlando area up SR19. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

You can also go to any campground in the forrest and look for Jeeps. Many times people will have advise or will show you around.

if you're going over from 19, just head east on sr 40. there are several fire roads going through the forest. if i'm not mistaken, the odd numbers run north south and the even numbers run east west.

when you're out there remember to stick to numbered fire roads, like anywhere else. there are some pretty neat spots out there. random lakes and some pretty picturesque views. if you are looking for something a little more challenging, then head over to the hardrock offroad park.
