Recent trip to jw corbett

Went out to Corbett yesterday with a few buddies and ended up following another jeeper out on to trail 7. What was supposed to be a simple trail run and day of fun turned into two hydrolocked jeeps and me having to tow one out 3 miles through some deep muck to get to dry land in hopes of getting it dry enough to start. Corbett is fun but definitely be prepared to puddle jump and use your recovery gear. Also I'm not sure the actual rules and regulations but one of our guys got cited for being off trail even though we stayed on trail 7 according to the map. I'm assuming it's because it's out of hunting season which is understandable. I'm still learning the rules of this place but all in all just be careful if you're heading out there.

Damn. I was thinking about checking it out too. That water looks deep.

I'm lifted 3 inches on 33s and still got water in the cab and in some cases up over the hood. So I'd be careful heading out there. Plus fwc is patrolling too so be sure to stay on designated trails.

That's for general public. We all have our hunting licenses so we were allowed on those trails. But since it's off season you're really not supposed to be traversing Corbett according to fwc.

That look like you guys had a blast. I was out there for the first time a couple weeks ago on Trail 6, the water was not too deep and zero mud.
