September 2019 Ocala National Forest trail ride.

It's a few months away so this should give some time to get it planned out. Too many deer flies out now and they should be gone by September.

Easy trails that a stock Jeep can handle with some nice scenery.

Let's see how many are interested.

Cool, we'll have to figure which part to run. The one we did in December starting in Paisley and ending up by Pinecastle was a good one.

I good for a ride. Hopefully it doesn't fall on a working weekend.
@Ghost JK , I can go out with you to recon routes if you need a trail buddy. I can let you know the weekends and weekdays I'm free.

@386GreyWanderer Sounds good. Once the deer flies are gone we can run some trails down.

Interested. New Jeep and relatively new to wheeling. I'd love to get out and give it a go if I don't have to work.

I’d be interested if I can get off work. I live in NC, but My mom lives in the scrub in paisley. I’ve done some trails there growing up, but would love to do more with people that can keep me from getting lost or too stuck. I’ll be watching this thread.

Aug 31st is Labor Day weekend. Let's get a count of who will go. I"m thinking that we can meet up at the same gas station as it's a good starting point, and has plenty of room.

Jax area folks we can meet up in Orange Park or Fleming Island and head down 17.

With the fall approaching we can start setting up a monthly meet up if you want. The weather is pretty good for running trails from Sept. to April.

Count me in for the 31st. @Ghost JK , hit me up if you want to do a route planning run the weekend before.

I wasn't able to go on the last ride, where was the meet up point?

Not sure about a monthly meet up. Most, if not all of us are involved locally with other groups. Personally, I think quarterly would be better. We can discuss that later...

Also, we can expand to more places. Citrus WMA, Tate's Hell SF, Osceola WMA, JW Corbett WMA, etc. Again, can be discussed later...

@386GreyWanderer the main meet up was at a Kangaroo station on the corner of 19 and 42 in Altoona
A few of us that went from up this way met up at a Publix in Fleming Island and went down 17 to 19 together.

Labor day sounds good to us as well.
How far away from Salt Springs is the meet? I may try and get a camp spot for the weekend.

If Aug 31st is a go, I'm in. I'll be coming from just above Jax so I can meet in OP or Fleming Island and ride down. Just let me know where to meet and when.

Well depending on the storm Dorian, I might have to cancel my trip.

Looks like this storm Dorian might be a TS or even a depression heading for the area Sat. That means a TON of rain, real bad mud and overall crappy weather.
