Dunno. No switch in my JL.

Maybe it's something really special...

If the Jeep was preowned my guess is that the previous owner installed something, and removed it before the trade. If the Jeeps new I have no idea.

Me thinks it is the back to the future button.

Probably a dealer installed anti-theft item. Call the dealer and ask them would be my suggestion.

What is the symbol on the button? I can't make it out from the picture.

Just went to the garage and checked my factory ordered 2019 JL. NO SUCH BUTTON on mine. I agree with " Wanted33 ", most likely a previous owner installed accessory switch. The icon appears to be one that can be used to denote a "hot spot" enabling device. IMO.

My guess would be an aftermarket remote start. The button is likely for pairing with a fob.

Actually it's the button used to turn a Jeep owner into a beautiful woman.

If it has an aftermarket alarm, it could be a valet switch, etc. Other than that, no idea.

Check your sales contract and see if there is an add on for a vehicle tracking system. Your loan people may have you on a leash.

It appears to be a button to engage "Troll Mode." Quite effective from what I can see.

Wow looks pretty similar to it. I’m going to take it to the dealership tonight, I can’t figure it out.

I don't think he was calling you a troll, if that's what you thought he meant. I think he was referring to some of the other posts pokin' at you with off-the-wall ideas.

I have the same thing. I think it is related to the EVTS system. something added we did not ask for from dealer but end up paying for, like badly tinted windows and clear plastic on door edges and door handles UGH !

At 400-500 dollars.... I'd be pretty pissed if that just got "added on" with no discussion and a yea or nay from me.

Somebody would be having a bad day shortly if I found that out....

Then they would be writing a check.
