Could this be what the 2018 JL will be like?

Extreme Terrain has written up a piece on the OutdoorX4 website about what they expect the new Jeep JL to be like. Read about it here and post up your thoughts on what you think about this:

It's not our rendition. It's what Extreme Terrain thinks it is. The changes will be, in our opinion, not nearly as subtle as what they've shown.

Betteridge's law of headlines says "No." There's a lot wrong with that rendering. Not even close.

Completely agreed. The listing of updates to the JL vs the JK is spot on but the rendering is, in my opinion, too much like a JK. I expect the JL to be a departure from what the JK is. We'll know more next year.

Based on what I've seen and read, I don't think the JL is going to be as far of a departure from the JK as some of you expect.

Think Toyota Tacoma. They tweaked a lot of the truck, and changed the powertrains up, but overall it's still basically the same truck otherwise. That's sort of what JL will be...heavily tweaked and revised, but overall the same vehicle.
