JL Rubicon at Dealer on 35's and 37's

Bill Luke here in Phoenix got a JL Rubicon. Video shows it with 35's and 37's.

He does say the 37s requires a factory lift.

That answers the question about having the same or different bolt pattern as the JK.

Someone asked that, not sure who.

Good point, there was another thread where someone asked that.

For those that want to see the different tire sizes on it:

35" at 0:27 in the video
37" at 1:32 in the video

Here's a JL on 37's. Sounds like it can be run with some bump stop changes, but that would limit suspension travel a bit. But rumor is 35's can go right on...

My big question though is if there is still a factory rake? If you can slap on 35's right from the factory, will we all still need a spacer kit to get rid of rake?

Can you put 35's on it with the stock rims or have to go after market?

The factory wheels normally don't have enough backspacing for 35's.

Yep and normally you can't put 35's on a stock Jeep and still wheel.

While I do not know for sure I think it may be possible on the Rubicon. I read that the Rubicon front and rear axels will be wider than Sport or Sahara axles. I do not know if this will push the wheels out enough though. Indeed the Rubicon wheels might have a different backspacing that negates the extra width.

You can put 35s on a stock Rubicon, so that means stock wheels as well.

Indeed, 35s can go onto the Rubicon and use the stock wheels too; no mods. However, from what I've read and heard and see, it appears that there may be some rubbing at full articulation running 35s unless you add the 2" Mopar lift.
