JLUR Extended Warranty

Some things never change. My dealer gave me a great price on the JLUR but wanted a lot of money for the extended warranty. So, I said no thank you and started shopping.

2014 JKURX - I purchased my first ever extended warranty. I bought the 100 deductable Max Lifetime warranty. So, this Jeep will stay in my family with me on the title forever. At that time the dealer wanted way to much as well.

Years ago here on the forum I found a guy at a dealership in Kansas. Clay Robbins. He now is at a dealership with the same last name. I am not sure if he is the owner or involved but Clay is still out there selling warranties. On my JKURX I got a SIGNIFICANT discount on the best warranty ever offered. Jeep does not offer that warranty anymore. They are getting killed on the Lifetime Max 100 Ded warranty. In fact, I have had many salesman try to buy my JKRUX after I had some service done. I think Jeep was offering a bounty on that warranty. I had to call a dealer manager to tell him to shut down his sales guy calling me on one occasion as it got so bad.

Still own the 2014 JKURX.

2020 JLUR
So for my new JLUR I contacted Clay again and now have in place an eight year/125,000 mile warranty including a Mopar lift. I wanted one for this Jeep as I don't plan on selling this one either and there is a lot of electronics on this Jeep.

Great deal again. I highly suggest you contact Clay if you are considering an extended warranty.

Yeah... Clay secured a Max Lifetime warranty for my girlfriend's 2018 Grand Cherokee, right before FCA cancelled that warranty program. He went way above and beyond to get the contract in place before the deadline -- she didn't know how to get it done, so he helped her out big time.

Clay, again thanks!

Bought the same one, same guy. I waited a few weeks just to see if I was going to like the Jeep as much as I thought I was AND I checked in with my local Service Mgr about Mods before I wrote the check.

Jeep/FCA has treated me very well with this Jeep. No complaints at all.

Now if I can just stop driving this one so much

* I drove my 2 door MT JK today... Wind gusting 25-30mph Wow what a drive.

I didn't think I was going to make it a few times.

Hopefully you put some hood latches on the JK. The factory rubber deals are scary. I love the new JL hood latches.

Well, tell him hi from someone that has never met him face to face. You are in the right place to also get that warranty as well.

X - 10X - 10th Anniversary of the Rubicon.

Special equipment like later a Hardrock would be...but the JKURX would be collectible due to the nature of the designation.

I purchased two Lifetime policies from Robbins myself. They lured me in with the lowest price, and then gave outstanding service. Clay and Dawn are great.

Clay and Dawn have it down to a science. Price really made it a no brainier (for me) the pleasant experience was a bonus.

The JKURX is a 2014 Rubicon X edition. Essentially a 10-A edition but the next year 2014. After that they started calling it a Hardrock edition.

That's what I thought. But I've only seen them called 10a's.

The 10a was in 2013.

The X was in 2014 special edition, but without the extra 1/2" lift of the 10a

The HR was in 2015, and 2016, but also did not have the extra lift.

The Recon was in 2017 and 2018, with the same lift as the 10a, and heavier front axle and C's.
