Last week I installed a Uniden CMX-660 which lasted exactly one off-road trip before it conked out and died; won't power up at all. Guess I'll find out how good the Uniden warranty it.

Also recently installed some 285/75-17 Ridge Grapplers on Quadratec Hard Rock wheels (had them left over from the JKUR), Metal Cloak Skid plates, Under the Sun grill insert, and LOD Destroyer sliders/steps.

Attempted to remove the hard top this weekend so I can finally get that soft top installed, but that didn't go very well and may end up in my eventual divorce.
Lesson learned: should have listened when she said she wasn't comfortable lifting the hard top off.

Thanks, but I was just being dramatic
Wife and I are happily married for nearly 20 years, but I have to say that arguement about removing the hard top escalated quickly. LOL according to her she almost lost a finger. Oh well...marriage is all about compromise and admitting when you’re wrong (even when you’re not).

I tooks the first small steps in nicening up my ride

Put a big smile on the back of my jeep that puts a big smile on my face.
Custom licenseplate holder until the time i might see some dirt

Exchanged that monstrous silver antenna with something smaller and darker

Put some wavy wavy stickers on the mirrors which looked REALLY good yesterday - driving to work today i lost one pinky and half a thump, so off the went again. need to try some that stick better....

Added some green valve caps, but no photo yet. wrong shade of green, getting some others

Green & black seat covers are ordered.

with that done i need to look at the real stuff - bumpers, fenders and lights, lights lights. possibly some other brakes, becuase the stock brakes are OK, but i prefer better than OK brakes. Need to find a good mechanic for all of that because i suck at this :P

Your "stuff" is real .... Bite at a time. You don't know you suck at the next steps. That's what we are here for

Bite at a time. Yell when you know what the next bite is.

Ranchos.... Gotta admit - Huge difference on mine. More of a difference than there was on my JKURHR, perhaps the JLUR needed more help (IMO it did)

The JL has an excessively spongy suspension (for me) body roll, lack of controlled feel.
The Rancho suspension solved all that. It greatly improved the steering feel, I anticipate a new front track bar will continue with that improvement.

Scheduled for the 2.5" AEV lift, pintlers, and Cooper 315/70s. Goes in on 6/11. Now deciding on side steps or power steps.

Definitely let us know how you like the AEV lift. Their 2.5” dual sport spring lift is on my short list.

Just got back last night from a week long 3300 mile round trip to the Silver Lake Sand Dune Jeep Invasion in Michigan. I wheeled her on the dunes and through the "black" endurance course they had set up. Had a blast but glad to be back sleeping in my own bed.

Just got some Qtec "Black" lug nuts... I'm on the fence. OE Mopars definitely more robust. Why not just spray them Black?
Thoughts?

And....

Sitting here wondering "Why" doesn't anybody make a 315/75-17 in a C-D load.

If priced half decent I think that would be a winner tire size...

Will do! Had the 2.5" on my JKUR and loved it.

Also selling my Tazer now that is brand new due to the Snap Procal being included in the kit. So if anyone is thinking of grabbing one, I poste dint he parts section. Hell of a deal.

I also bought a Tazer JL, but haven't installed it yet. I'm probably going with the AEV lift and seeing that it includes the Procal Snap was a bonus. But I just found out that the SNAP doesn't reprogram the TPMS so you're light will be on in the dash if your new tires are below the psi threshold. Just an FYI...not sure you were aware of that. I wasn't and it's making me rethink keeping the Tazer.

Took the top off for the first time since buying it 2 days ago. Slid it by myself onto a wooden rack that I built which I used for the previous JKs' hardtops.

I put my dashcam from my last Jeep in this one. Good to have that back. It is the Roav C1...
Tomorrow the new Pedal Commander arrives, we'll see...I don't think the JL needs it as much as the JK did.

I wasn't aware. I replaced the TPMS but didn't know about the Snap. I actually sold the Tazer and got this guy below. I'll have to see how big an issue it is. I pick up my rig tomorrow from the shop. (I don't this stupid photo won't post correctly).

Installed HIDprojector retro fits with red devil eye and 2 programmable angle eyes.

Need to bring them up a little... But will just see if the lift fixes that for me
