Windrock trip Jan 27&28

If anyone is interested a few of us in Charleston are heading to windrock this weekend. We love it there and just got 2 of the 3 badge of honor badges for the trails we did in the rubicon last trip. Taking the sports this trip and hoping to tackle them again. Snow forecasted for Sunday but hoping it'll hold out until we leave early Sunday! Let me know if anyone else is interested or going to be there!

Did you have to break out the winches?
Heading to Charleston on the 15-17. Hopefully we will find a place to live. Any thoughts?

We did on 16. I probably didn't need it as I ended up out driving the winch but the other jeep we were with went before us and needed it and it looked like we would too. Both sports and both did great. No lockers needed. Had to break out our winch to rescue our buddy who went thru a little too deep of water but luckily knew not to restart in water so we winched him out and did everything we could/should and his jeep is fine.

As to where to love depends on where you'll work, budget, etc. traffic has gotten bad and no signs of letting up so what used to be about a 30 minute drive to/from work is closer to an hour now. We ended up in our home since it was one of the few non hoa neighborhoods in Summerville. West Ashley is nice and some areas of goose creek are good. We avoided downtown Charleston and North Charleston. Mt pleasant is nice but again depends on where you'll be commuting. Give me more info and I can tell you more

A good friend and decent person I know is in the marketplace attempting to help folks in the transition here in Charleston/Summerville area. Here is a link to her information.
