Allpar rendering of 2018 Wrangler?

Anyone seen this rendering at Allpar? I really hope the front end doesn't look like this. It is very ugly IMO.

Well, not exactly. The roof, windshield, doors, bumpers, approach angle, grille, lights, etc. are all different, not to mention the suspension changes. I see it much like what Toyota did with the "all new" Tacoma that just went on sale. It's not really ALL new...just heavily refreshed. That's what the Jeep JL is ... just heavily refreshed.

At this point it's still pure speculation. The only thing credible in that image is that the windshield is no longer hinged which will make the it more difficult to install windshield lights. The angle of the windshield is also likely to increase slightly.

Some variation of that bumper is a good possibility since streamlining the aerodynamics is likely a goal and that integrated bumper would certainly help.

True, I'm sure the TJ guys would like it if they moved the turn signals to the fenders again.

Omg no no no. That front end looks like it's about to bulldoze something. Hopefully they get rid of that but otherwise I like the changes. Especially with there being so much glass in the windshield.

Simply square off the headlights, and pull the old YJ guys into the fold too.

I want to say JK 2.0, but staring a bit more at their photoshop attempt, I would go with JK 0.2 instead.

IMHO, they really need to delete Allpar's copy of photoshop.

Surely that can't be what we've all been waiting for. There's no way. They just took a regular JK and made it...well...kind of dumb looking. My thoughts are that's just based on someone's (rather poor) imagination. I can't see anyone who's ever been connected with Jeep giving a thumbs up to production of that.

Hate the bumper, but I guess we can rip that off.
How about an integrated roll cage with the top with removable top, side panels leaving the integrated top/cage open.

Hummer like grill too. Short vertical slots with just a round headlight at each end.

I hope so. I really love the JK/JKU's design and look. I currently have a 2010 Sport I bought used in summer 2014 but in a few years would love to buy a Sahara with the color hard top. I hope the future Jeeps will be very similar to the JK models because it's my favorite look. Otherwise, I'll have to buy an older model again - unless I like a potential redesign.

It looks Amish.

No offense against Amish people, of course.

Let's dial it back. Historically they've been changing, not refreshing, about every 10 years, with a refresh having already happened in 2011-2012. Second, they wouldn't paint the bumper because 1) it's an "off-road" vehicle and the paint would look like crud after even a small impact, 2) bumpers are pretty commonly replaced, hence the bare bones bumper that has always been on the Wrangler. That looks more like some (unoriginal) rendering to feed everyone's hunger for news on the impending update.

Love the doors. I can put my fake "woody" stickers in the in-dents.

I like the grill. Not a fan of the bumper. The color is the worst.

My neighbor drives a Panamera in that color. Looks like a flying turd.

Still wish they'd come out with a limited number of Super Chiefs. I for one wouldn't be able to afford it but, I would spend my nights after the dealership closes drooling over it.

It'd be great if the new Wagoneer's body looked anything close to that.
