INMHO I see your tires sticking out way past the fenders. Not attractive or practical.

Like FeMan said, to each their own....but I sure didn't buy a Jeep because it was "practical". Lol

Mike, Nice looking JL

Thinking about the same lift - did the ride change much?

The ride is still pretty good, but did change a little. Overall pretty happy with the ride, better then just about any lifted truck I've been in. Since it is the same springs and shocks it feels very much the same. On the highway it wanders just the slightest bit. When they come out with track bars and control arms for the JL's I will probably add those on to combat that. The tires pick up a lot more bumps, but that is to be expected.

Nice, I love this color, I think the grey with black wheel, bumpers, ect is a great combo. And it even looks half way decent covered in pollen.

Is it the tire/rim size that is causing them to stick out or does the JL have shorter fenders? It looks nice but its not for me. The reason I ask is we was thinking of getting a JL very soon.

Wheels aren’t the proper offset and tires are too small for the lift.

JL with 33" and 2.5" lift

The wheels sticking out this far on the OP's Jeep is due to the choice of wheels; stock wheels are completely tucked into the fenders. Here is our JLUR after a muddy day at the trails. The Jeep is relatively clean because the fenders cover all of the tire. If the OP went with us that day, their Jeep would be covered much more.

I don't mind the look of wheels sticking out past the fenders. I prefer to have as much coverage as possible for muddy trails though.

It is the offset, the wheels are 12" wide and -44 offset. Also why they look bad ass IMO.

33" with 2" is pretty standard.

Hope the negative comments don't get you down. There is always someone who won't like something.

My first thought on seeing your pic was "How can people say the JL doesn't look like a Jeep?" Sure as heck looks like a Jeep to me!

Thanks. Negative comments don't bother me. I love the way my Jeep looks. I spent a lot of time picking out the wheels and tires before I bought, and it looks just the way I like it. If some others don't...well I guess they can enjoy their "practical " Jeep's.

What tail lights are those? I thought they all had the hourglass thing from the factory...or is that just ones with blind spot monitoring??

**mini thread hijack**

Agreed, non sensor tail lights look WAY better... fingers crossed that someone does an aftermarket with sensors in them.
