New JL Jeep Wrangler Limited Rubicon 2018 black loaded VS JK 2015 Hard Rock

When I purchased my JK 2015 Hard Rock it was bad but when I test drove the new JL 2018 Rubicon on Sat I purchased it on the spot loaded. Couple of notes moved from 6 speed manual to new 8 speed automatic. I told my wife couple of months back all the things that I would fix on my 2015 HR like improve quality on 6 speed, putting soft top back folding it better, gas mileage, hood jumping up and down when driving, etc and they did it all and much more but only thing they did not fix was rain spout at front door water still runs in when you open door but what the H. I use to say I love my Jeep but it is a Pcs of shit but now I can say l love my Jeep and it quality built. I hope to have my need Jeep before leaving on trip from PA to key west and back in March going to be awesome trip no matter which Jeep I take.

Why did you buy the JK if it was so bad?

Personal opinion has nothing to do with quality.
The 6speed wasn't a bad tranny.
The JK soft top is solid enough to stand on, how it folds is opinion, not quality.
Gas mileage - Ford/GM trucks barely improved moving from a 6 speed to a 10 speed auto. we'll see in time how much better The JL is over the JK. Doubtful its better then 5% - Also nothing to do with quality
Hood - Why you watching the hood and not the road?
Water in the door - that's a feature, keeps the carpets clean

Enjoy your new JL!

You consider a manual Jeep Rubicon JK a POS? Where's the unlike button on this thing?

Wow, that's a very deep looking black on the JL vs. your old JK. How is the difference in ride (power, handling, and gas mileage) between the two?
