Hahah, I'm not sure your attachments worked, or maybe my internet is bad today...

These pics really show just how much more sloped that front windshield is going to be. Not sure how I feel about that. I get that it's way more aerodynamic, but one of the things I liked most (for daily driving) about going from my car to the Jeep was the flat windshield. It's hard to describe, but it just feels so much less intrusive looking through a flat windshield that's close to your face.

The sloped windshield does look out of place and a bit awkward. I noticed it even more in some of the other recent spy shots. It should help with the aero (fuel economy and wind noise) and hopefully decreases the occurrence of rock chips/cracks. Maybe it'll grow on me over time.

Is that an emergency stop button on the dash? Wonder is they come from the factory with one.

Those grab handles, could they have made any uglier? Not a fan.

Color me the moron in the bunch, but so far I'm not offended by any of the permanent bits.

Thanks for posting!

I wouldn't say I'm "offended" and overall I think I'm more impressed than I thought I would be. A lot of people thought this was going to be the death of the Jeep and I think it's pretty clear that's not the case. I am still glad that I bought my 2017 JK though, just wish I had the diesel option...

I still remember when the JK was going to be the "death of the Wrangler". People get wound up pretty easily, and "group think" is quite the evil beast.

You and me both on the diesel.

I hate that location. With my lights, I use them all the time on the country road home. I need them handy incase I need to to shut them off in a hurry. Heck I even moved the switches to #2 & #3 position so I don't have reach as far. Same reason I didn't go with

However for most, it will mean asy stock option vs hassle of wiring up an Spod.

It won't be as conveniently placed for some, but theoverall convenience will likely cost even more users than A-pillar cahnge, which would still allow for placement behind or to the left for the truly dedicated... but that included 4 ports will have a huge impact.

I know I'm going that route if its done well enough vs having to deal with the firewall and fusebox tap.

Also looking forward to see what the CB implementation is. I'm skeptical, but as I aleady use my Midland 75-822, it would be nice if they get it right too.

People will still do their own, but it will definitely impact the average low hassle user.

It all comes down to ease of use and implementation.

Looks like the rear section of the top is still removable. Also, is it just me, or are there no upper control arms?

It's always the last place you look...

I think the one you think is on the left is the end of the swaybar link.

Also remember, in the JL(U)s with the new axle the control arms supposedly are slightly wider apart, likely slightly tweaked to adapt to the older 30/44 combo that supposedly remains on the Sport.

No I am not looking at the swaybar link. I am looking at the flag nut on the frame side which would indicate there must be a control arm . the passenger side is obvious.

O.P.: Where you able to see anything regarding the 2nd row seats?...they look like they might have been down.

Specifically, I'm looking for a middle 2nd row seat headrest.

Thanks.
