Well Hello.. Look what we have here... Wrapped JL spotted

Looks like the JL was spotted driving in the wild with whatever tarp-like camouflage it could muster. Not easy to make out the details that interest us regarding the removabe bits, and the vroom-vroom bits, but still nice to see it maintain the basic shape.

The Roof-line seems squatter (low vs wide) but could be the camera views and the angle of the windshield seems lower;

Interesting to see the duratracs instead of bfg's on the rubicon wheels.

Yep, that would definitely be my choice if we had an option at purchase.

I've been running the more aggressive Wrangler Territory tyres for years, but the Duratracs will be next year's add on to the X as the old Territory ones are getting... well... old.

Not a fan or hater of the BFG KMs, would prefer the KM2s that were on the 10A or else Wrangler MTRs personally, the straight KMs are terrible on the road getting to the trail-head.

I think the move to Duratracs is a good decision. I am sure the main motivation is weight, as each tire weighs 7 lbs less than the KMs. You know they are all about weight savings for the JL, but especially rotational weight as that has a more significant effect on gas mileage. Duratracs are also cheaper than the KMs, and in my opinion more practical since they are a winter tire.

I am sure the KM2 has better offroad traction than either tire, but the KM2 is not available in the same size and is significantly more expensive. Also they put Duratracs on the Power Wagon, so they might have some kind of deal with Goodyear. Or maybe they just wanted a tire that said "Wrangler" on the sidewall.

Looks like we can expect the same bolt pattern for the JL wheels as the JK? That'd be sweet in terms of swapping wheels over on a JK>>JL trade-in.

Not sure I like the soft, upholstered vinyl look, but I am sure I could learn to live with it. Anyone know what colors it will come in?

That's the new full wrap soft top. When fold it down, all that's left is the floorpan. No more having to take the doors off!

In the pics forum there's two of them posted within minutes of each other. I posted after Quad because he only posted the one link and I was posting all 3 with the pics attached. When I checked to create the post it wasn't posted yet in ANY of the JL forums.

But of course... nothing says unwarranted posting like B1tc#ing about it a full two days after the 'just two threads' were created.

It kind of looks like the windshield is flatter than the JK windshield. Kind of interesting considering the windshield is supposed to be fixed.
