Curious to see if anybody out there has used these folks for a regear and if so what your opinion of them is. Im considering reaching out to them to swap mine but figured Id check in here first. TIA for any responses.

I've had good luck with East Coast Gear Supply in Raleigh's Brier Creek area.

No experience with Carolina Chaos.

Marc @ Carolina Chaos is great. Priced better than anyone around and quality work that he will stand behind.

OP did you have any luck with your regear?

I ask because I'm finally getting vibration and shudder which I'm certain is from my rear diff. I just moved here (not unpacked yet!), but before moving to WF, I had changed my rear diff cover and oil, and found some chipped teeth on my posi-traction oem diff. Unfortunately my local dealer back home wouldn't fix it under the 100k warranty without some symptoms like I'm getting now! So I'm heading to the Jeep location on Capitol Blvd and see if they can do some warranty work for me. If not, I suppose it'll be Chaos or East Coast.

Anyone have any experience with Jeep dealership on Capitol Blvd? TIA

I actually decided to go with East Coast Gear Supply (just made sense being I live so close to them). Had them install 4.56 and Detroit TrueTracs front and rear last week. Haven’t completed the 500 mile break in yet but so far so good, no whine or any other noises to speak of.

Price for regear?

Any input on a price range for the regear? Dealer vs. private shop?

I have a click sound from rear end upon a quick start-up from the line. Chipped tooth/teeth. Over 100,000 miles. Probably started 30+k miles ago and became much more frequent and noticeable.
