Gorges State Park Fun Ride 11/18/17

Heading over to Gorges State Park for a fun ride Saturday 11/18/17 if anyone wants to meet up. Irbicon and I will meet anyone that wants to go at the visitor center at 10am.

Anybody around the Charlotte that wants to go, come on!

Just saw this and can't. Got to go to funeral this weekend.
Had wanted to get there and Muster Grounds this year. Made it about halfway thru Muster Grounds last year on a Sunday but left early for the ride back home.

I understand. Hard to get anything going. I wanted to go on the Hickory ride last weekend but we had a death in our family too so we had to stay home.

I believe I won't get there tomorrow either. Everyone is sick here.

We do need to get together before the end of the year though...

I was looking forward to this ride. I still want to head over to the trails you said you know about off of hwy. 178.

If we could get and early start I wonder if we could get them both done in one day? Dreaming, I'm sure.

Would be a challenge for sure. I'm an early riser though. Are there any low country service roads down near your area? Nothing here.

We are going through an expansion right now and several large tracts of land are being consumed for community housing and business projects. Most everything except the Nat'l forest is being paved. I haven't been out there in years as the Rangers were a pain to deal with but it has gotten better.

They too just received a bunch of money to repair roads so that may change too. Everything I have ridden of late was all upstate around Easley or Pickens. NC, GA & TN have many more unpaved roads.
