If you're up for it, a few of us are looking at Saturday November 11th for a run around some forest roads in the Pisgah. I'll post the details when we get sorted.

Sounds like fun! Lets make it an easy ride, I have not been off-road in a Jeep in many years. It will be fun getting to meet some other Jeepers! I just bought this stock Jeep 7 months ago in March. I don't even know what all to bring on a ride? I have a spare tire, a jack, a chain, a tow strap, I do have a winch and some MRE's. LOL

I got a CB I can put in the Jeep and a chain saw?

Does anyone have a list of essentials you need to carry with you?

If my schedule supports I'm in. I'll know as we get closer.

Do you ever see any of the Lights? I haven't seen any since i was 18. I graduated HS in Lenoir and come back from time to time to ride trails. Earlier this year I was with a group of 28 other jeeps on Richland Trail. I would love to ride on that side of the county and see them one more time.

Sounds like a HOOT, ya'll have fun! I've been wanting to finish Mustergrounds for over a year now. I rode a part of it one Sunday but had to return home on the same day so I only had a couple hours. Over by Bad Creek.

Rode the Trans American Trail across America (Maple Grove Baptist Church Rd FR 1357) and much of the fun stuff thru NC was up in Pisgah Nat'l Forest. Drove right by Mortimer, NC on 90.

Have ya'll heard of the Smokey Mtn 1000 mile trail? Streaches from Tellico Plains to Blowing Rock area.
I think it is a combination of dirt and asphalt.

You rode right by my house. That is why we live up here with our dual sport motorcycles and the Jeep Wrangler, the fun starts at the end of my driveway!

Do you have a link to this somewhere? I can't find anything in a Google search.
