Smorr

Hi all, I live around KC. I'm thinking about making a trip down to SMORR. Does anyone know if they have a place to air up at when done wheeling?

SMORR is a great place to wheel. Best to get there mid day Friday, set up camp and get in 1.5+ days of wheeling.

Brandon has limited open weekends this coming new year. Best check the website SMORR.net for the calendar of events and open park and costs (cash only). SMORR is also on FB. You can go that route as well.

Almost 1000ac of trails, 5+ levels for trails, great elec camp spots, lots of open camping area, great bath house....

The jeep jamborees are a lot of fun, but they are expense and if you have several people riding with you get real pricey. I have been to smorr a couple of times and its a great place to wheel and a great campground. But if it was me I would find a local club that is going there and hook up with them. I would be up for going again, when you have date through it out on here.

Yes I seen it was like $250 a person. It is kinda pricy but I would like to say I've experienced one. That is also the closest on to me. I live around KC MO. I have a buddy that's in the KC jeep club. I really just need to join with them.

I have also been, as noted, very nice trails and nice facility.

I'll probably be going by myself to the jamboree. So I'm counting on meeting some great ppl and having a good time. I'm still new at the off-roading and try to be careful since it's my dad and it had to get me home lol

If you are on Facebook, there are a couple of 4x4 groups in the KC area. There is also the KC Jeep Club. They have a web site, where non-members can get on some of the forums.

Are you looking for some place to off-road or just wanting to go to SMORR?

I am not on Facebook. I am just trying to find places to off-road. I have been to Kansas rocks and had a lot of fun. I stick to easy trails bc this is my dd and I drive it to and from the parks also.

Ok, was just checking to see if you knew about KRocks. There is a new place by Columbia. I think it's called Central Mo Off-Road Park. It's supposed to have easy trails.
