Wanted: Jeep to rent for wedding

Hi everyone!

My boss' son is getting married in July 2014 and wants to have a Jeep instead of a limo. I've called the regular car rental places, but have come up empty. I found this site and am hoping someone here may know of where we can rent a Jeep for 2 days. We are in NW Indiana, but will travel a little bit to pick it up.

The hope is for a red Jeep, but will be willing to accept other colors.

Thanks in advance!

Hi Michelle:

Congratulations to the happy couple!

Jeep rentals tend to be a specialized, niche business. It's easier to rent a lLamborgini or a Ferrari than a Jeep.

Assuming your boss's son wants a Jeep Wrangler, and not a Cherokee, or a Patriot, you will have a tough time trying to find one for rent at the local Jeep dealer or Hertz.

That said, it doesn't mean you should not try, worst they could say is 'no'

You could also try here:

I also rented one when we went to the Great Smoky Mtns in Tenn. here is their link:

Good luck, and remember, women cry at weddings, men cry after...

Shtarker: Too bad about all the dead movie stars.
Siegfried: Yes. What will we do without their razor-sharp political advice.

Thanks for the information! I will look into it.

I have found exactly what you said to be true; it's quite difficult to find a Jeep Wrangler for rent anywhere outside of a mountainous region! Maybe I should try and talk them into a Ferrari! LOL

Anyway, thanks for taking the time to offer your assistance! It is greatly appreciated!
