Moving to hartford area

We are moving to the Hartford area this winter and looking for fellow jeepers up that way!
Q1: are there any cool trails? We have a 12 jku 3 in lift on 33s backed by locked front and 4.56 gears.
Q2: any crazy laws I should know about concerning modifications ie cut fender flares, driving with the doors off...
Any info would be great!

Welcome to Greater Hartford, Zee71mach1!

When, about, are you relocating to the area, and from where?

There is very little in the way of legal wheeling in the Demokratik People's Republik of Connecthetaxes. Your best bet is to hook up with one of the local clubs. Or read some of the previous posts in this sub-forum for some leads, sez the independent, unaffiliated Jeepster... ;-)

Hartford born, and bred. Currently living a little East of the river.

Check out ECOJOCS (East Coast Off-road Jeepers of Connecticut) great group of people, very family oriented and now part of two large associations of other clubs so lots of access to land as well as private land access too.
Facebook search "East Coast Offroad Jeepers of Connecticut", www ecojocs.org and email for more info - [email protected]
