Question Putting soft top back up by myself!

Hi, I'm a new 2 door wrangler 2014 owner. I was wondering if anyone can advise me on putting my soft top back up by myself. Are there any tips on doing it, because I tried and I couldn't get it past the back bar! I need to be able to do this because I'm not going to have people there all the time, like say a sudden rain storm happens!!!! If anyone can help me out, I would greatly appreciate any tips! Thank you

Hi don't know if this will help but with my jk 4 door I stand on the back seat to pick up the rails and get them in the track. Works great for me

No problem hope it works for you. Being a 2 door you might have to straddle the counsel but hope this gave some idea.

Always grab the back/bottom bow. Lift up as high as you can and then fold the other bow forward. May or may not work depending on your and your vehicles height.

Thank you, I will try that. I'm 5'6", so I should be able to do that. The only problem I may have is it will want to pop up since it's new and not softened yet! I'll figure it out. Thank you so much for your help!!

did you figure it out? If not my partner has a 2dr JK and is able to do it herself - she's 5' 3", I'll ask her to show me how she does it and I can pass it on. I have a JKU and it can be challenging.

Can anyone out there recommend the best way to clean the plastic windows of the soft top without scratching them?

Stand on the rear bumper and push the front bar forward, also leave the part that connects to the rear tub disconnected until you hook the windshield latches.

I get in the back seat, grab the plastic header bar and pull it up and over the roll bar. Once i have it moving i make sure and get hold of one of the curverd supports that end up by the door so it doesnt fall back down. If you can get the two sunrider latches to snap in you should be able to work it the rest of the way from there.

Also, make sure you get those two header bar hooks hooked in before you start messing with any of the rear stuff like the sail panels or you'll never get them to hook up.
