Hi I'm from the Philly area. Pine Barrens are pretty cool. When are you looking to ride? I was thinking in Jan 1st. Anyone??

Welcome! I've been light offroading in NJ twice. I'll PM my details and maybe we can link up and see some trails.

We went out today.
Gave my 10 year old a one page map of Wharton State Forrest and just winged it. We are going to plot our trips on a fresh map for him to hang in his room.
Our basic route, I may have this wrong but WTH.
Entered at Atsion Lake
Quaker Bridge Road to Middle Rd to Basto Lake Rd.

Stoped at village and walked around a bit.
Headed up to Washington Turnpike from Basto Rd
Took Wash. speedwell to Hawkings Bridge to Friendship Speedwell to Miles Run Jakes Spring Rd.

I think this is where I turned around and backed out. I was alone and they had just tilled the road. Very soft and some monster water filled drops. Didn't want to chance since I don't have a winch yet.

Still much to discover over there. Would like to go with someone who knows the area well
