Off Road Tire Shop / NJ Tire Question

Hi All,

I have a 2015 JKU Sahara .. not looking to lift the car yet but considering purchasing 295/65-18's from DTD which come out to be 33.1" for the duratracs.. does anyone have any good tire shops in the North Jersey area that specialize in off roading? Looking for a shop that has experiencing trimming the air dam/wheel well or anything else that may rub with the larger tires. (Fiance doesn't want to decrease the 18" wheel as she is not off roading haha)

Next question is I am considering either a wheel with 4.53" or 5" backspace -- I know in other states its legal to have the wheel stick out past the fender but I read somewhere online unofficially that it was illegal in NJ... I haven't found anything online that truly confirms this for NJ, but is it legal to have the wheel stick out slightly past the fender as it seems most jeeps in the area have this?

Thanks,
Matt

I use Radical Motorsports in Ramsey, NJ for any kids that I don't want to tackle myself. They mod and sell tons of Jeeps and really know their stuff. They were recommended to me by a few jeepers and everything they have done for me has been top notch. I recommended them to a few buddies and everyone says nothing but great things about their work.

I had my tires shipped there from Discount Tire. They took care of everything else, even washed the Jeep inside and out.

I'm really picky when it comes to my stuff and my only complaint is that they installed a "complimentary" Radical license plate frame in place of the one from my dealership.

Thanks Foxyjeeper -- this is real helpful .. I have a bunch of mods I plan on doing over the next few months so this will be great having them nearby.
