Old Bridge NJ Off Roading?

Anybody near Old Bridge go off roading? Seen a bunch of dirt roads near power lines, Old Water Rd. ect. Pretty sure it's not legal I'm assuming is it safe though?

I always wonder that myself when I make the left onto Marlboro Rd from Texas Rd. See a lot of chained off dirt roads and an occasional ATV. I'm sure this is a big no-no....

Nothing fun is legal in NJ... Your best bet is to head over into PA. They've got more fire roads and fishing/hunting access land without anal retentive wardens parked on them, and Rausch Creek for some crawling.

EHH WRONG
the forest roads you speak of are on Pa parklands , state forests and state game lands they are not off road friendly.
if you leave a designated posted roadway, people will report you(inc. me),
they will go out of the way to catch you and it is very costly.
and in certain circumstances they can confiscate your jeep.

agree. PA is not offroad friendly at all. I go to jersey to offroad almost exclusively. You're an hour from the pine barrens. hundreds of miles of roads there. all legal. very few blocked off. this past weekend i was out at state college in pa and every game land property we drove to was about 500 feet of dirt road that ended at a locked gate. this is typical here.

Are there any hills at the pine barrons or just flat and mud? I like mahwah because it gets pretty difficult at spots.

I might go out to mahwah to test out my Renegade if anyone wants to go out there tomorrow.

PM me
