Wharton Jeep camping

Hey guys, looking to go camping in Wharton Labor Day weekend and of course hit some trails. I've been to Wharton a number of times but never camped. Anyone know some good spots I can off road to? Sort of off the beaten path ideally and a legal spot. Thanks

If your camping in Wharton, hopefully you already have a reservation otherwise you're probably out of luck. When you check in at the Ranger Station ask them for a map of the legal spots you can drive.
