Trektop NX/Glide Sunrider Question

I have a 2017 4-door JK and am considering either the NX or NX Glide. My interstate "normal" is 80 mph. Can I do that with the Sunrider open or does it act like a parachute? Does it need to be strapped down? Also, how would the NX Glide perform when completely collapsed at that speed?

The glide will not parachute at that speed when folded correctly when open. It does just fine closed as well. I had our Green Jeep on the highway this weekend coming back from an event and was able to do that speed with no issues to the top. *CassieAtBestop

I've had an NX and now have the Glide. Neither of mine balloon at highway speed (70mph). The NX has a single fold where the Glide has a double fold when you flip the top back. No problems with either.

Curious, how did you get your Jeep up to 80!!!! I didn't know they went that fast!

None of our tops should parachute on the highway. If you see this, they are likely not folded back correctly, we have a few tips videos on our You Tube page to help prevent this.

You have to be going down a steep downhill for this But then it's a bit nerve wracking! Haha! *CassieAtBestop

my nx glide started to parachute or ballooning in me recently. Not sure what’s happening. I’ve flipped it back the same way I always have. Any suggestions

Did the 2 sound bar strap clips break? Those keep the center down.
