BRAND NEW GUY TO JEEP: Pardon my cluelessness

Hello everyone. Bought a 2019 Rubicon last week and have never off roaded before. I would like to attempt this but would really be looking for light stuff like beach and maybe a NOVICE trail or two.

Unfortunately I missed the beach permit timing as I purchased after March 31st.

I am located in Lake Ronkonkoma, Long Island (Suffolk County).

I dont want to be the guy who thinks he knows it all or goes on a trail and looks absolutely retarded lol. So I rather just be honest and say I have NO CLUE as to what I am doing.

You may ask why I went with a Rubicon than. Great question. I am THAT GUY that goes out and tries to get the best I can. LOL Yes probably small penis sydnrome lol. Sorry I am kinda brash.

Anyways, was hoping for some advice, tips, tricks, do's-dont's and a few eye rolls. LOL

Have a great day guys. And HAPPY MOTHERS DAY to all!

P.S Any good clubs in Suffolk County looking to have a retarded clueless person join?

~Steve~

Step 1: Watch as many U-Tube videos as you can. You will pick up lots of "don't do that" and "why that worked and the other didn't!"

Step 2: join a club with people that like to and have the patients to teach a "green horn" jeeper. The learning curve is steep (and sometimes expensive) if you try to do it all by yourself, but with the combined knowledge on the net and in a group, in 6 months, you won't be a green horns. You have an EXCELLENT starting attitude. Good luck and WELCOME to jeeping. Now Just Empty Every Pocket!!!
