Mechanics on long island

Hey all, I am new to the Jeep world. I have had my blue 2011 Sahara for about 6 months now. It is time for me to start adding my own style.

I live on Long island and I have search the forum to see if there is anyone who will do lifts for jeeps. I saw someone mention Evan's 4X4 on one of the post. I was wonder if he is still around or if there any other reliable places. As well as there are any shops that will do any modifications that I'm not 100% sure I'm capable or doing. Such as bumpers or off road lighting.

Thanks in advance

Matthew

Congrats Matthew and welcome to the Jeep life. There are lots of shops including Evan's. Mostly I'm familiar with the ones in Suffolk. Goonies Garage, TNT Monster Trucks and Outlaw 4x4. I've heard good things about all of them. I've done all my own work so far but when it comes time for regearing I'll be going to one of those 3. If you're on Facebook join the LI Wrangler page. Lots of recommendations come from there. Good luck!
