Thank you to everyone who has showed up at the local Queen/Brooklyn Weekly Meets. It has been a lot of fun so far and I am glad more and more people are showing up

We have been having weekly link ups at Wednesday 7:30 PM successfully at the World's Fair Marina in Flushing. We would like to have bigger turn outs and continue with either weekly or bi-weekly meets. We figured it would be good to discuss possible locations for the next meeting spot and time. Please chime in and let us discuss the following:

(a) Weekly or Bi-Weekly Meets
(b) Best time - 7:30 work for everyone?
(c) Location (Poll)

If you would like to suggest another day, time or location not listed please feel free.

This location will affect the next meet day set for Wednesday September 30th.

I voted Astoria Park because it's close to me but I can semi-easily make it to Flushing Marina and Canarsie pier as well.
Gravesend would be tough.

7:30 works for me, 8pm as well.

I'm of two minds concerning weekly/bi-weekly meets:
- on one hand, I simply can't make it every week, due to work/family/jeep fixes/etc.
- on the other hand, if the meets are weekly, people like me have a much better shot at showing face on a monthly basis due to more opportunities to hit up a meet.

Either way is really fine by me.

Can't make tonight either, I've got some issues at the shop that need my time. Ruski- if any headway get made on the trip text me! I'm getting my locker installed up front tomorrow, hoping to be ready for this weekend if that's when it happens.
i think we might have to reschedule the trip due to hurricane Joaquin. Some wind damage is already reported in Lancaster county which is not too far from Rausch Creek and it might get worse. No major flooding in the area yet and I doubt the park is gonna get flooded, but with continuing heavy rains the surrounding areas might get floods and road closures.

Also it looks like it's gonna start raining any minute so i'm not gonna make the meet today.
