Regear location recommendations?

Just called the Jeep 4x4 Center in South Burlington and the guy gave me an estimate on regearing to 4.88 gears of $1500-2000 PER AXLE. Anyone that upgraded to 35+" tires who regeared for less than that?

I just checked with Nate's Auto and they quoted me $2700 for the whole job. I do a lot of business with Halford Motors in Georgia, he's a straight shooter and may be worth looking into. There is also a guy in Highgate that runs his own shop, heard great things about him (there can't be too many shops up there to figure out which is his)

Most of it is labor cost as I was quoted around $600 for all parts needed to do a complete regear.
