    Clarification of axle ratio question.

    On-highway performance is not that big a deal. I'll travel 65mph or less in the Jeep. However, I'd take the 3.73 for highway roadablility IF the 4.1 was not really much better on the trail.

    Just saw your post about the Rubicon trail from June, and you have the experience to answer this question for a new off-roader. I plan to stay stock wheels and tires. Do you strongly recommend the 4.1 axle on the Rubicon Jeep automatic, or is the 3.73 practically as good. I will be using the Rubi for fun as a second vehicle, for short road trips, and some Jamborees before I go deep by myself.
