ww2 mb or gpw steering wheel on a yj ?
 
is it possible ? im wanting the more mil look so this idea crossed my mind. im thinkin the horn stuff may have to be modified ? what ya think ?

I highly doubt it, the whole assembly is different.

Your best bet would be to buy a wheel with the same style as the old flatfender CJ's

Trust me, you don't want one...they are larger than your wheel. Remember, the old jeeps didn't have power steering, only "arm-strong" steering, so the wheels were BIG to give you more leverage to turn the wheels. My 1972 has no power steering and the previous owner put a small wheel on it. I turn the wheel about 4 turns to the 1 or 2 on my yj. I think if you did fit an old wheel on your column, you would have leg room issues. Hope this helps a little for ya.
