It's time for me to drop the pan to change the transmission fluid on my 98 auto. I've been reading alot and definitely want to have a drain plug. Would yall recommend one of the add a plug kits or getting a new pan with one already? I may just be tired, but I had a hard time finding any pans for the 98 3spd. If you do recommend a new pan... is a deeper one the best option?

I put in a new deep pan with drain plug about a year ago. The pan came with filter and gasket, it adds about a quart to quart and half of extra fluid.
Don't remember how much it cost but I bought it on EBAY around 125.00. Skyjacker and B&M both sell deep pans for the 32rh.

It makes dropping the pan a lot easier and less mess.

i bought my pan from Mopar. it was like $60 and came with a filter, gasket, filter extension.
