Christmas wreath

'Tis the season Jeepers! Any of you guys out there going to mount a wreath on your jeep this year? I'm planning on going to Home Depot and pick one up to put on the tailgate, maybe add some lights too.
Share your ideas here and post pictures of your setup! I'll post mind when I get it hooked up

This photo is from 15 years ago when my son was only about 10 but I still run that wreath. red bow, and antlers on the front of my TJ with a white deer tail on the tailgate.

I'm planning on finding a wreath to put on my spare and maybe something for the front bumper. I thought about running something with lights, but I don't know how legal that'd be...or how I'd wire it so they'd stay on all the time.

I believe on quadratec? There is a wreath for $40 with lights and it plugs into your cigarette lighter

Thanks for the link, although that's kinda small for my spare. But I'm thinking about getting one for my front bumper now...hmmmmm. I can see that working.

Thanks.

Hey! Get that YJ outta here!

Just kidding, I'm just kidding.

I bought the quadratec wreath for the front then a 32" for my spare.

I'll hopefully have time this weekend to decorate it but I'm not holding my breath.

Sorry to bump an old thread - but I just got my Quadratec catalog and saw this wreath. Does anyone know how I would plug this into the lighter and still mount it to the front grille? What would I do with the wire?

The wreath is zip tied to the grill and you would run the wire through grill along the inner fender well in the engine compartment, through an opening in the firewall such as the steering column and to the cig lighter.

Walmart wreath $3.00 and solar Christmas lights from Walmart $9.98. I zip tied it to the grill and works great.

obviously you've never been to Lollapalooza...

See I started this thinking no hell no I would never put a wreath on my Jeep... Now all of a sudden I think it's a cool idea to paint up a spare tire green with decorations.... heck you could even airbrush it to look like pine boughs.

Just got it together this week. Reusable for next year.

cjaama 12-22-2017 08:47 AM

I really wanted to do it this year, having a red Jeep with the perfect mounting location in the front... but I never got to the store to pick one up. I might have to pick one up after Christmas when they sell all that stuff for 75% off.
