CB noises
I have a couple of inexpensice CB's I am trying to get to work, they seem to work oks, just a lot of static when I go to use it..seems to receive well ( as I hear through the static)..and ideas? a lot of mods on the electrical

Have you tuned the antenna?
Is the noise consistent with engine noise? How is it wired? Can you squelch out the static? The lower end CB's use less filtering to save money so you'll have a higher noise to signal ratio than with a higher quality rig. |
..maybe I need to take it to a shop or place that does CB's..sounds too complicated for me..thanks skeeter
