That transmission looks like a good deal. The only thing that I would be leary of is that you can't actually see it in person before you buy it. I just paid 400 dollars for a used tranny last year...

I believe they said it was either a detroit locker or a lockright. Not sure which one though. As far as doing it myself, I could probably put the axle in but the gears and lockers I wouldn't know...

Might look at the clutch, pressure plate, and throw out bearing and look into replacing them. It is a lot easier to do it know then having to pull the tranny again in 6 months.:) Just my .02
