I had problems with my transfer case drop kit and had to get an SYE. I don't recommend using the drop kit as it's just a quick cheap solution not having an SYE and we all know what quick and cheap...

If you have the transfercase drop you shouldn't need a shim. Best bet is to get the SYE with a CV type shaft from Tom Woods.

I had sliders on mine when I first purchased it. I hated them. The window opening was really small and sat too far back to be of any use. I would MUCH rather have some solid steel full doors.

It's not difficult, I did mine in about 2 hours, but I had other things I was doing with it. It's a one piece gasket for both the exhaust and intake and they use the same bolts for both.
