This Jeep was not running when I bought it. We pushed it off of a trailer into my garage. I had it running within 2 hours.
1990 Jeep Wrangler YJ (Red)
Replaced the carb with a Motorcraft 2100; upgraded the ignition coil to an HEI setup; performed the "Nutter bypass"; replaced both motor mounts; replaced the radiator; upgraded the fuel pump.
Replaced the seats with new seat risers and sliders and had custom seat covers made (red and black design) with marine grade vinyl; replaced the plastic console with a lockable steel console; put a lockable, metal "trunk" behind the back seat.
Replaced the home-made bumpers with 3" tube stainless bumpers (front and back); put on 4" fender flares; black, powder-coated rocker panels; replaced the top with a bikini top and that is all I have on it.
Put in a Sony X-plod receiver with Pioneer 6" X 9" speakers in molded boxes that fit around the roll bar behind the front seats.
Put on a 2" Black Diamond lift kit; replaced the entire front steering linkages (every linkage piece that was on it was bent!); replaced all of the shocks; done away with the vacuum lines from the transfer case to engage the 4WD and replaced that with a Posi-Lock cable setup
Wheel and Tire
Replaced the tires and rims with chromed steel (7/8" negative offset) with 31" tires
