General Information

Wrangler YJ
beryllium cocoa metallic pearl
Started out as a stock 1994 yj 2.5 L 4 cylinder stock. I bought the jeep knowing it had light damage history to the driver side, but instead of replacing the tub side they just straightened it out and welded it back. I bought hard doors and a Hard top. Putting on the doors exposed the issue with the drivers side.

A massaged 355ci 4bolt, balanced and blueprinted, 3/4 race cam, double hump heads, hedman headers, edelbrock intake, and holley 650 was dropped in. A rebuilt/new TH400 turbo and rebuilt NP 205 transfer case was mated to the powerplant. Exhaust is 2.5" back through magnaflo muffs with turn downs.
Completely stripped the interior. I welded in replacement panels to eliminate the wrinkled tub floor. Added 1" door bars to strengthen tub. Refinished all dash and upgraded steering column donated by a S-10. Completely rhino lined all interior surfaces. Recovered the back seat, and added buckets from a pontiac sunbird. New Front seatbelts. New console and husky floor liners.
After stretching driver side 7/8" so the doors would fit, started sanding and straightening out any uh ohs and door dings. Welded on a custom handmade cowl induction scoop for the hood. After weeks of fitting, sanding and finishing, she went to paint. I blacked out all the lights and added Hella Black magic lights all around with the exception of the Hella fog lights. I added SRC tube front, rear bumper with tire carrier and tub sliders. Added a warn 8000 xrc winch with synthetic rope. Currently building body guards and tub guards. Next would be a full race cage and seats. Would like to modify the front tube bumper and exo cage it with roof rack.
Stereo is a Pioneer CD am/fm satellite ready. In-dash speakers are pioneer, rears are 6x9 pioneer, and a 6 speaker bar overhead. CB will be added along with an amp.
An '86 Chevy 3/4 ton donated the 4:10 35 spline axles. These were completely gone through. The corporate 14 bolt in the rear has a spool, but the front is still open/ limited slip. I have plans for an ARB or Detroit locker to be installed as the budget allows.
SOA provides the lift. I am going to add 2 leafs to the front and rear to handle the extra weight of the V8. A 3" body lift provides more tire room. Had to install a custom torque bar to reduce axle wrap. Has custom length Tom Wood drive shafts. Rancho RS 9000 extended shocks were installed.
Wheel and Tire
The temporary meats are Maxxis buckshot mudders 305x70R 17 on 17x9 pro comp wheels. I powder coated the wheels black. After I lift the jeep another 4", I would like to go to 35" or 37" Irok swampers or Pit bull growlers.
