2017 Jeep Rubicon JKU (Granite Crystal) - I intend to use this jeep primarily for overland and camping trips with my friends. Have taken a couple of trips into Utah - Moab and the Dixie National Forest. Planning to take longer trips in 2022 when I retire. Up to Canada and Alaska. This Jeep is definitely not a mall crawler and sees some tough off-road trails from time to time. Not a rock crawler but not afraid to tackle some challenging trails. I live in Desert Hills Arizona near Cave Creek and do some camping up on the Rim and the White Mountains. I bring along a couple of friends of mine that have 4Runners so I can practice doing recovery for them when they cannot keep up with my jeep. I do most of the work on the jeep myself except for some of the special work that requires welding or when I had the gears changed. Always something to work on when you own a Jeep.
