I medically retired and am now slightly handicapped but enjoy wheeling my Jeep whenever I am able. I live in the wheelers paradise of southern Nevada. In my life, I have built and installed many engines, and did just about any kind of mod that is possible but those days are now behind me. I have to pay for others to do those things now. As I read all of the upgrades that you all do now, I am extremely envious, I once had the ability but not the money and now have the money but no longer the ability.:(
1997 Wrangler TJ (White)
Stock 6 with headers. It runs great, decent power and not a drop of oil. All of the torque that an old gene like me would need.
Stock interior with one improvement that's important to me, as i sold my Cadillac to upgrade to this Jeep and have gotten used to a quiet ride, I installed a Hush Mat in the tub and the hard top. Should I ever install a V-8 then it is likely that I would pull the Hush Mat. Limo tint so that the southern Nevada sun doesn't burn my eyes.
New paint, Smittybilt hoop style shorty front bumper with a Warn XDI 9500 winch with synthetic line.
In my generation, we just called it a radio except mine plays FM and CDs too. Just a basic Bose system without all of the gadgets plugged into it. It plays both kinds of music well though, both Country and Western.
