History
Purchased used south of Jackson Tennessee on Jan 4, 2011, with 35,000 miles on it, two owners, dealership was asking $18,000, I talked them down to $16,000, tried like crazy to get them to go to $15,500, problem was, they knew what they had, and so did I, and I was the only one looking at it in months.
Previously bought a 2004 Jeep Wrangler Sport with 28,000 miles on it, was a rental car, ended up on a dealership lot, bought December 2009, coming home from work on Nov 2010, hydroplaned and totaled it, then in January 2011, I found my dream vehicle, the Rubicon I mentioned earlier. I fell in love with the TJ model back in 1998, tenth grader in highschool, I was doing good to make the payments on the 1977 half ton chevy I bought for $800. I always wanted a Sport or a Sahara, then I discovered the Rubicon. In 2002, I bought a 1993 YJ for $4500, and drove it until 2004, when I discovered the transfer case was messed up in it, and decided to sell it.
In 2009, my 1992 S10 Blazer I bought was starting to go down on me, 290,000 miles, wasn't worth fixing, my friends talked me into buying the Jeep I always wanted, and at the time, and even now, the selection on TJ's today is limited, people are hanging onto these things, I wanted a Rubicon, but settled on the Sport.
