Bought new in 2013, went to my first Jeep event in January at the Redneck Yacht Club. Learned a lot. My jeep will progress as needs dictate and after getting stuck in the mud, I learned what a winch does, how well stock tires float and don't open the door when you are stuck hinge deep in wet mud. We met some great, helpful people. Have begun adding wheels, lift, and other modifications. Will be work in progress as time and $ permit.
2013 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited (Black)
Just testing a new Ops Armor exhaust system right now. Dual exhaust sounds great. Installed Superchip Flashpaq to correct for tire size and improve performance. Kept the oe 3.21:1 gear ratio for now. I expected it to be a dog, it is a little slow off the line but fine after that around town. Highway driving is marginal, shifts all over the place. Am going with either 4.10 or 4.56 gears soon.
Shimmed the back seat hinges to recline seat back 4 degrees.
Added Rampage front and rear bumper with tire carrier. Glad to get that weight off the tailgate. Installed a running board off a Sahara on the passenger side so my wife can get in. Put one on the drivers side as well just to balance things off. Bulldog winch installed, looks great, look forward to getting stuck. Added 50" LED bar and cube spots at windshield. Lights up everything. Added an Ops Armor Exhaust. It sounds great and has helped with power and slight improvement in economy.
Just my wife and my dog.
Superlift 2.5" with Bilstein Shocks and steering stabilizer. They work great together.
Wheel and Tire
Installed 18" Monster wheels with 35" Nitto Terra Grappler Tires. Tires should have decent grip in mud yet sound great on the highway.
