I am wondering what gears I should run with 37 inch ko2s. I have a front prorock 44 and rear high pinion prorock 60. I am trying to determine what gears I should run due to the rear 60 running on the coast side. I honestly don't know if just because it has a larger diameter ring gear it is...

So as the topic says I have a JLU Sahara 2.5 lift with 315 (34.50') Goodyear duratrac tires I consider re-gearing to 4.88, currently I'm running 35' and will do for the next 1.5 years.. I do light off-roading but more high way drive (city drive) and its my daily use ride.. I've tried to find...

Hello all, I have a 2014 Rubicon Unlimited, automatic, on 37’s, and I am trying to decide between 4.56 and 4.88 gearing for my situation. I live in Colorado, and the Jeep lives between 6,000 and 8,500 feet, with plenty of hills. I am carrying some extra weight with skid plates, steel bumpers...

I recently changed my gear ratio in the D30 and F8.8 to 4.88 in my Jeep TJ In order to track the temperature and make sure the differentials, the rear especially, don't get too hot I wanted a simple temporary temp sensor to keep an eye on it. On amazon I purchased a cheap battery powered LCD...

I have a manual 2017 Wrangler with 37" toyos and a 4 inch lift. I do mostly highway driving, and do not offroad unless my dad or brother make me. Looking to regear, going back and forth between 4.88 or 5.13 ratio. I am looking at alloy kits, would love some feedback and advice. Thank you!

Good morning guys So I'm rolling with a 2015 Willys, 3.5" lift, stock gears, 37 / 13.5s. Looking to regear and maybe throw in some lockers while doing so. Typically I drive up to 100 high way miles a day, so lots of driving, but I'm also off road pretty much day. My mechanic friend seems to...

My pinion gear in my rear axle has a broken tooth so I am replacing my gears. I have a Dana 44 with an Ox locker and 4.88 gears. I don't know if my gears are thick cut or thin. The carrier break is ~2" and there is a spacer that is ~1/4".

Just a simple thank you to all the knowledgeable boys & girls of the TJ forum. Been lurkin-n-learning for a few years now and finally pulled the trigger on an axle upgrade this past week. If my first few jaunts are an indication……specs gleaned from many of your regearing suggestions were...

With our pending move to S.W. Arizona and it's higher elevation and mountain trails I'm wondering what would be better for me, 4.88 or 5.13 gears? Any of you out there have real world experience and knowledge you can share? I plan to join a local Jeep club once we move and I would like to run...

So I recently purchased a 2016 Wrangler JK unlimited sport for my wife back in august. We are beyond excited about it. My question is what programer works best for our application in previous owners minds? Be mindful, our rig is running 3.73 gears currently on 37x13.50x18 tires with stock...

This past weekend, my dad and I finally finished a 5 year project. Vehicle we are working on is a 2001 TJ with a 4 cylinder automatic. Shouldn't have taken so long but illness and other issues gave way to the long time span. We did many alterations but among those was a swap from a 3.73 axle...

Hi Wrangler Forum Community-- This is ultimately a "what size tire to buy" thread--but please read into this. If you have Nankang Mudstars in 33" or 315 I'd especially like to hear you. I don't care what your BFG Mud King measures, this jeep is 100% budget. I've gone from the stock P215 R15...

I've read and read and still cannot get a definite answer. I have a 04 LJ, 33 inch tires and stock 3.73 gears. Automatic 42RLE transmission. It's my DD and I am tired of turning the OD off and sluggish power on the highway. Mainly on-road use with light trails a couple times a year and 35's are...

Hey everyone, So I just got my 4.88 G2 gear ratio's, My 4x4 was running like sh!t and i found that I had 4.11 in front and 3.73 in the back. Which i assume caused my jeep to buck up and down. I have a few questions, would switching to the 4.88 give me a higher top speed, and a faster...

Hey everyone, So my rear gear ratio is a 3.73 and my front is a 4.10. I have a 2.5L TJ with 33" tires. I know that a 4.88 is the best thing for my jeep but I would like to save some money. If I changed only the rear gear to match the front, would I see a significant difference In my speed and...
