When in 2x4 and you are driving down the road, does the front driveshaft turn? Both of the axles turn inside of the pumpkin? If you have a clunking noise only in 4x4, could you have a diff issue?

OK I pulled the diff cover and drained fluid and the 4.88 gears are fine and theres no big chunks of metal, the locker activates and locks and I replaced the axle locker sensor but the light stays on... what do i check from here? fuses? Please help! Thanks
