Today I went mudding and there were some deep puddles, pretty fun! Anyway, whats the best way to clean under the hood, it is full of mud, and dirt, and just a bunch of junk. I don't usually care about the cleanliness of under the hood but it is very muddy. Whats the best way to clean it?

So i just had some KC Daylights installed today... Anybody know if that little bit of red and white wire running from the KCs placed on my new bumper to the inside of the car is mud/water resistant? since they run right under the car about 2 inches are "exposed" when going into some terrain.
